Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

These terms govern your use of SolveDXF. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. Please read the section about verifying your output — it matters when you cut real material.

1. The service

SolveDXF is a browser-based DXF auto-nesting tool. Nesting runs entirely on your device using WebAssembly; your CAD files are not uploaded. The compute engine is fetched once from public CDNs and cached in your browser. Because computation happens locally, results depend on your device and the input files you provide.

2. Accounts

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the CAD files, images and other content you process with SolveDXF. We claim no licence over your designs; we simply never receive them, because processing stays in your browser.

4. Acceptable use

5. Verify your output before cutting

Nesting is a computational aid, not a substitute for your own engineering judgement. You are responsible for verifying every exported layout — dimensions, kerf and tool compensation, clearances, material grain direction, and machine safety — before cutting, drilling or machining any material. Always dry-run or test-cut critical jobs.

6. Availability and changes

The service is provided free of charge and may change, be interrupted, or gain paid features over time. We aim for high availability but provide no uptime guarantee at this stage.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages — including damaged material, machine downtime or lost production — arising from use of the service or of any exported layout.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time via Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or threaten the integrity of the service.

9. Contact

Account management is fully self-service in the app's Settings page. A dedicated contact channel will be published here before public launch.
